Managing partner

Partner at Praxys, focused on the financial structuring of infrastructure projects, particularly ports. Leads project development, project finance, mergers and acquisitions and project management.

Leads, on behalf of Praxys, the commercial and financial structuring of the Porto Central container terminal (Espírito Santo, Brazil).

Before and outside Praxys

Senior Project Developer at Odebrecht TransPort (2010–2012): port terminal acquisitions and analyses in Brazil, including Nascon (Espírito Santo) and stakes in Embraport.
M&A advisory on the R$ 1.6 billion TCP Paranaguá container terminal transaction (2013).
Previously at Moffatt & Nichol and Embraport; technical and economic feasibility studies before regulatory agencies.

Raphael Vilardi

Partner

In financial markets since 1971. Since 2005 he has been fully dedicated to Praxys, leading infrastructure projects, project finance, credit and corporate finance.

Played a central role in Embraport’s financial structuring, including the US$ 786 million project finance with the IDB (2011).

Before and outside Praxys

Leadership roles at The Chase Manhattan Bank (now JPMorgan) and Odebrecht; CFO of Grupo Coimex.
Coordinated the Oeste Vias (Portugal) project finance with the European Investment Bank, US$ 500 million (1997–1998).
Feasibility of Phase 1 of Praia do Paiva (Pernambuco) and support to the negotiations that produced Brazil’s first public-private partnership (2006).
